Just thought of making a post about the movies I caught on the flight to and back from Taiwan as well as another one I caught back home. So here they are:
1. Just Go With It
Finally a decent romantic comedy flick from both Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston after a while. The movie was hilarious and really sweet with a cameo by Nicole Kidman.
2. Soul Surfer
AnnaSophia Robb starred in this inspired by a true story movie of Bethany Hamilton, a surfer who lost an arm due to a shark attack and her search for life's answers. Truly inspiring and a tear-jerker by performances of not only AnnaSophia but also Dennis Quaid, Helen Hunt and Carrie Underwood.
3. Diary of Wimpy Kid: Rodrick Rules
Just as you thought the sequel was gonna be the same tone as the first film. The movie managed to keep its reputation and the cast delivered an equally solid performance.
4. Arthur
Russell Brand in this remake romantic comedy was surprisingly not cheap nor slapstick funny. It was actually watch-able with some touching moments. Helen Mirren and Jennifer Garner was as usual graceful. I just loved it. The plot was simple though predictable but it has its moments. :)
Ooo... and the trailers for both The Dark Knight Rises and The Amazing Spider-Man are out! I can't wait for the movies!! :)
